Help needed with Step One - The root hack

Hello peeps, I am currently tearing my hair out! (Not that i've got much left) LOL I need some help.

I have a HH2.0A (8.1.H.J) That i wish to unlock and use to replace my current sky broadband router. I have followed to the letter the steps in the tutorial. However when i get to the Step One - root hack and get to the bit that wants me back up my firmware but it reports the directory doesn't exist

What am i doing wrong?

Can you check the mount command and that it was saying /sda1 for the usb stick (copy the output of the mount command here if you are not sure) and also post what you typed in for the backup
