Hidden settings page - error when saving settings

    Hi all

Excuse me if this has been covered but I have searched without success.

I have a HH2.0b which I am trying to setup to use o2 (LLU) broadband.

When I go to bthomehub.home/thd_setup and enter my settings I get the error msg:
    Invalid entry
The broadband username that you’ve entered is either incorrect or is not supported by your Hub. Please check your username and try again

It does seem to save the values however, but when I then try and connect it does not succeed.

My original f/w was reported as: Software version 4.7.5.1.83 (Type B)

To try and make progress I followed the sticky thread and flashed f/w from file HUB20B_4.7.5.1.83.3.17_PROD.exe and re-tried the settings but got exactly the same result.

    Any advice massively appreciated

p.s. I rang my isp and the chap said he could see minimal traffic (handshake?) being exchanged.

    Cheers,
    dan

Have you tried changing the other settings? See e.g.

    http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/124.htm#BE/o2 LLU settings

    I
had not trouble with any of the firmware versions you used but I needed the default settings VPI 0, VCI 38, VCMUX, PPoA.

I am no expert on this but my experience in the past is that if vpi/vci are wrong you can login briefly but the connection is rapidly lost. My scan of the web suggests o2 do not use the default settings hence I suggested looking at the tripod pages.
You have probably already also seen this:
    http://www.o2help.co.uk/configure-netgear-router/
Sorry can offer no more advice. I certainly did not need to do anything other than use the default settings with a HH2B and Zen. My experience of non-standard settings was for AOL sometime ago with a hacked HH1.

thanks for taking the time to reply

Looks like I'll have to stick with my current ISP's router as this HH refuses to play ball despite being given all the correct settings!

I am having the same connection problem with O2, I have entered 0, 101, LLC in the hidden settings page, but still no connection. I am also using a hacked 2.0A hub and that connects fine to O2.

I'll drag my 2B out tonight and try to get the cl commands to change it all.

While I'm doing that are there any erros showing up in the error log. It's under the troubleshooting tab in the web gui.
