    OpenWRT on HHV2B

    Has anyone attempted this yet?
Looks like it should be possible/already supported as the Infineon Danube SHC is already on the list...

I was looking into it but I didn't get very far. I got serial access to the uboot console to try out a openwrt kernel/remote rootfs and I was in the middle of building a openwrt port.

A NAND flash driver is required as only NOR is supported in Openwrt's kernel at this stage. John Crispin has one staging at http://dev.phrozen.org/gitweb/?p=lan...1684d4b7afe20b

Unfortunately my missus damaged my board when tidying it away (she managed to rip off all the serial test points and adjoining tracks so I don't know if I'll continue.

Can someone provide images of the pcb? Obviously my pads are removed so it's kind of hard to point them out.

I ended up illustrating my board; I hope it's clear enough. UART is 3.3V, RX has an on board pullup. TX/RX is the danube's view of thing so connect Tx to RX on your uart board and visa versa. Settings are the usual 115200 8N1.

U-boot is set in silent mode so you'll see nothing on the TX during boot. You should be able to get it out by:
    1. Connect uart to board
    2. Apply power
    3. After 4 seconds press enter
    4. Type 'setenv silent 0' press enter
    5. Type 'saveenv' press enter
    6. Power cycle the board

Alternatively there's also an option to disable silent mode in openrg prompt but I can't remember what it's called. Go fishing around the options in the advanced mode it should be in a bootloader sub command.

OK so since the board was back on the dinner table I ended up repairing it somewhat and spent a bit more time on it.

Anyhoo, I got openwrt to boot. The basic stuff is all working nicely thanks to the good job done by openwrt guys. NAND doesn't work so it's just limited to ramdisk at the moment.
