Hi, love the easy access to edit ISP username and password but can i stop my HH2B upgrading its firmware and possibly losing hidden settings page? Thanks.

I used CLI to set the jnet/url and rmt_upd/url to my own site, have no idea if that'll actually change anything but those two were the only things I could find in conf that related to the firmware updates. Seems to be ok and stable but I'm a complete n00b with the home hub, I'm sure PsiDOC will come along with a concrete answer.
What were the exact commands you used to stop auto firmware upgrade?
I unlocked my HH2B when it was on firmware...3.5.
Since then it has been upgraded to ...3.18 and now today to ...3.31.
So far no untoward effects and I'm still happily connected to Talktalk, so prevention of upgrades may not be an issue. The page at http://192.168.1.254/thd_setup is still there so presumably you can enter non-BT details.
However, does anyone know what the ..3.31 upgrade has done?

The 3.31 is allegedly a fix for the router not assigning linux based systems an ip address via DHCP. This particularly affected Ubuntu powered PCs and Android phones.

Thanks mate. He's banned.
I am new at this and am reluctant to do reflashing. Does the HH2B "update" its firmware automatically even if it only used with a non BT-isp having previously set using the hidden settings page? I have a HH2B with firmware 4.7.5.1.83.3.10 and will not use it with BT. Does their updating server block access from non-BT ISP's?
